In response to the devastating floods that recently affected the regions of Feni Parshuram and Noakhali Lakshmipur, Team ACL organized a relief campaign to provide vital assistance to the flood-affected families. The campaign was divided into two teams, one focusing on Feni Parshuram and the other on Noakhali Lakshmipur, to ensure that relief reached as many people as possible.
Distribution of Essential Food and Supplies
We were able to provide relief to 150 families, offering them much-needed food and supplies during this challenging time. Each family received:
- Rice, Potatoes, Onions, and Lentils: A balanced combination of these essential food items was included to help meet the families’ basic nutritional needs.
- Dry Food and Biscuits: Ready-to-eat options such as biscuits and dry food were also provided to offer convenience and immediate relief.
- Powdered Milk and Suji for Children: Special consideration was given to children, with powdered milk and suji included in the relief packages to support their nutritional needs.
Medical Aid for Health and Safety
In addition to food, we ensured the distribution of medical supplies to help families protect their health during the aftermath of the floods. Each package included:
- ORS (Oral Rehydration Salts): To prevent dehydration, which is common in flood-stricken areas.
- Water Purifying Tablets: These were provided to ensure access to safe drinking water.
- Napa and Metril: Common medications to help families manage fever, pain, and potential bacterial infections.
Additional Essentials
To further support the families in managing their daily needs, we included:
- Soybean Oil, Turmeric Powder, Chilli Powder, and Salt: Key cooking ingredients to help them prepare nutritious meals.
- Hand Soap: To promote hygiene and prevent the spread of disease in these difficult conditions.

This campaign was made possible by the collective efforts of our volunteers and local partners. Their dedication and teamwork enabled us to deliver these essential supplies to the affected families in Feni Parshuram and Noakhali Lakshmipur.
